Let's Talk All Things Wedding Planning!

But first, let's be real for a second. Starting out the wedding planning process was fun & exciting, then you might have realized it's all actually a bit overwhelming and you don't know where to start, or what you're missing. After going through this for my own wedding and sharing what I learned with engaged friends, I decided to create this guide for my friends and their friends. My hope is that it helps minimize the stress and these resources / templates help you feel excited and organized through the process. So that it can actually be FUN and EASY (what a concept)!

Full disclosure I'm not a wedding planner, not charging anything for this stuff, just a regular gal helping another girl out with my knowledge.

And my control freak Type A self has put together everything you need to know for all things wedding planning. You can click the link below to get the Wedding Checklist & Budgeting, Bach Template, Resources, & Tips from yours truly below!

Okay Friends, here are the
resources you'll get in the wedding planning guide to use and have fun with!

Wedding Planning Checklist, Tips, & Budget

This Checklist is a step by step breakdown of where to start, and the things you'll want to plan at each month mark away from your wedding, so that you have a clear idea of what to focus on each month. I've also included my Planning & Organization Tips (like tricks on making things more affordable), Wedding Advice, and an Example of How Much My Own Wedding Cost, so you know how to budget and shop the deals!

The Ultimate Bachelorette Party Planner Template for your Maid Of Honor (Or You if You're Planning!)

This Bachelorette Party Template is a collaborative google sheet that includes multiple planning tabs for your Maid of Honor (or you if your a control freak like me), so you can plan the entire trip out!

The 1st tab is a Location/Airbnb Brainstorm, for you or your maid of honor to plan the pros/cons of each potential bachelorette location and the airbnb options.

The 2nd tab is your Weekend Details Planner, with potential activities, themes/outfits, accessories for gift bags, and decorations.

The 3rd tab is the Schedule & Cost Breakdown where your entire plan comes together.

The 4th tab is Game Ideas from yours truly, because let's be real the games can be the most fun part!

Examples: Lastly I've included two tabs of examples from bachelorette party schedules and cost breakdown I've planned, so you have a reference point for budget and activities!

Printed Goods Resource Guide:
List of Printed Goods You'll Need, How To Design & Print Your Own Invitations, Signage + More

I've put together a couple documents in this folder, but you'll first want to focus on the list of all the signage or printed goods you'll actually need. If you've made your design for signs in Canva or elsewhere, but need help on where to get it printed affordably, I've got you on that too. I have a list of the two resources I use for all my printing needs, and how to make sure your design is formatted so that it prints properly. I've also included info on the minimum invitation paper weight (thickness), and different types of paper you can choose to get it printed on. If you're hiring someone for your paper goods (I'm here to help if you need it!) you can totally ignore this, or use it to your advantage when picking paper!

Printed Goods Inspo:
My Entire Portfolio & Examples Of Wedding Invitations, Signage, Custom Napkins & More!

Sometimes we just need a little inspo to get the wheels turning for ideas. In addition to your pinterest inspo search, I've Included some printed goods I've made that you could knock off! Also if creating and printing these seems a little daunting, I have a side business where I help design and print the printed goods for you! Just reach out and let me know your vision, and I can work with you to get exactly what you want for a fraction of the cost of what you're seeing out there. This is a fun passion project for me, so I don't mind doing this for much cheaper in order for you to save money for other parts of your budget.

Bonus Planning Goods Included:
Wedding Playlist, Officiant Info + Script, Seating Assignment Template, Name Change Checklist

Seating Assignment Template: Mapping out where people will sit at tables can be hard, but it helps to brainstorm, so I included a template you can work within to map it out.

Wedding Playlist: I've also shared my wedding playlist with many people now so I've included it as something for you to use or change how you like when giving your DJ or Band a list of "must play" songs.

Officiant Certification Info + Ceremony Script Outline: If you want a friend to officiate your wedding, this is the ultimate resource. I put this together for my friend so she could officiate my husband and I, and also follow a traditional but not super religious outline for the 30-min ceremony. Everyone has different preferences for the ceremony but this is a good outline to go off of!

Name Change Checklist: Post-wedding, changing your name in all the places sounds daunting, which is why I created a checklist for myself when I was going through the process post wedding. You can put this on the back-burner for now but use my checklist as a resource when you're ready!
